It wasn’t bad enough that they made Sheeva in Mortal Kombat 11 look like Charles Barkley cosplaying as a WNBA star dressing up like Goro for Halloween, NetherRealm also had to go the extra mile in the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion pack to make Sheeva a fighter for Social Justice and equality. This isn’t hyperbole, it’s not even an exaggeration. It’s literally in her bio.

Yes, it’s highlighted by the intro header “Equality”, and talks about how she bested her male counterparts in battle to claim the throne as queen and fight for equality in ruling Outworld.
It’s as cringe-inducing as it sounds.
They’ve attempted to turn her into a Liberal Social Justice Warrior, a complete 180 from her villainous portrayals in every single other incarnation of the character.
Heck, in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon she was all about death and destruction. And in the original Mortal Kombat 3 she wasn’t really a fighter for equality but one of racial pride. Shokan pride. She didn’t give two tosses about Social Justice. She was about elevating the Shokans as a dominant race above all others, no matter the costs. This is why she aligned with Shao Kahn.
NetherRealm completely axed the racial supremacy aspect of her character and rewrote her in Mortal Kombat 11 to fit more in-line with Liberal-Progressive’s expectation’s of how they liken dark-skinned people to “misunderstood” monsters and orcs.
Also, long gone is the svelte fitness-model in the thong-getup from the old Mortal Kombat games; they replaced the monster girl with a monster man pretending to be a girl.

There is absolutely nothing appealing about this new Sheeva.
Heck, it’s barely even a “she” and veers closer to being a “he”.
It certainly makes the industry insider claims that they purposely uglify women in Western games to avoid upsetting the fragile sensibilities of the trans community seem more true by the day.
Lack of Entertainment took the piss out of the ugly rendition of Sheeva in the latest video while also discussing how the DLC expansion costs $40.
Anyway, fanboys of Mortal Kombat will make every excuse in the book to keep justifying why all the women are made ugly and unattractive (with a partial exception of Sindel) and literal incels will rally to the aid of SJWs to defend its wokeness so they don’t feel cast out or dejected by the feminist ham planets they orbit around on social media.
