Sony To Host PS5 Games Event On June 11th After Delaying It For Black Lives Matter

After Sony made it onto the list of Traitors of America by being a disgusting traitor on multiple accounts, the company will host the “Future of Gaming” event on June 11th, 2020.

Originally, we reported that Sony would go live with its “Future of Gaming” event via Twitch and YouTube on June 4th at 1:00 P.M. PDT / 9:00 P.M. BST / 10:00 P.M. CEST.

The digital showcase in question was supposed to run around an hour in length, but that wouldn’t happen on June 4th due to Sony supporting the act of theft, murder, and vandalism. It’s also worth noting that after this week’s showcase, Sony will likely go through with the “much to share with you” event surrounding the PS5.

Anyway, you can read over Sony’s newly posted tweet right here:

See you Thursday, June 11 at 1:00pm Pacific time (9:00pm BST) for a look at the future of gaming on #PS5: https://t.co/9XJkXYProo pic.twitter.com/8EoN34UPdd

In other words, Sony pushed the previously announced digital event by one week to support Black Lives Matter and allow “more important voices to be heard.” With that said, it wouldn’t be out of the norm for Sony to virtue signal like there’s no tomorrow later this week on the 11th, given the company’s past and most recent woke actions.

And speaking of June 11th, Sid Shuman — senior director and SIE content communications — took to blog.playstation.com to write the following information:

Hi all – thanks for being patient and understanding while we rescheduled this PS5 event for Thursday, June 11 at 1pm Pacific Time / 9pm BST. We needed to step aside so key voices could be heard during this historic and important time.

Now that the event is confirmed for June 11, I wanted to add that this pre-taped program will be broadcast at 1080p and 30 frames per second. This eased the show’s production process during a time when many of our team and developers are working from home. The games you’ll see on Thursday will look even better when you play them on PS5 with a 4K TV, as you’d expect.

It’s also best if you watch while wearing headphones, if you can — there’s some cool audio work in the show, and it might be harder to appreciate if it’s pumped through your phone or laptop speakers.

If the company’s actions, for some strange reason, haven’t turned you off and you wish to tune into Sony’s upcoming PS5 games event, it will air on June 4th at 1:00 P.M. PDT / 9:00 P.M. BST / 10:00 P.M. CEST via Twitch and YouTube.
