Trap Legend Arrives On Steam With Off-Site R18+ Patch

SJWs hate them, the brain-busted crazies on Twitter abhor them, and the genitally-confused Tumblrites can’t stand them… traps. The traps have come under attack in recent times because they represent an element of sexy that the Regressive Left will never be able to achieve. Hence, they go on the attack to smear and shame Japan’s trap culture, especially in mangas, anime, and visual novels, all in order to get the content banned. Well, Eroge Japan and No Strike are fighting back in the face of censorship with the release of Trap Legend, the sequel to the controversial Trap Shrine.

For those of you who don’t remember, Social Justice Warriors tried (unsuccessfully) to get Trap Shrine banned from Steam for being “transphobic”, but in a rare instance of defiance Valve stood their ground and allowed the game to persist on the Steam store, likely because traps still technically fall under the ‘A’ category in the ever-expanding LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

Eroge Japan decided to follow through with publishing Trap Legend as an all-ages release on the Steam store.

They also followed up with an R18+ patch for uncensored content that you can download from the Eroge Japan website.

Simply follow the instructions in the zip file to turn the all-ages VN into an R18+ VN.

Much like the first game, Trap Legend centers around romance between the new head of the shrine and the cross-dressing goddesses that inhabit the shrine.

It’s a gender-bending head-trip where the cross-dressers actually look like girls, hence the term “trap”. It’s also why the trans community is so up in arms about Japan’s depiction of traps because they’re designed to be pretty enough to “trap” the average guy. They also usually play up the topic matter for laughs, as opposed to trying to depict it as normalizing behavior, hence why some of the characters in Trap Legend have tails and cat ears and aren’t entirely human.

I can already imagine there’s a group on Twitter ready to “rheee!” and pout their way to the forums in order to get the game banned, but we’ll see if the game stays safe.

Obviously, if you’re not into trap culture then steer of Trap Legend.
