Gamers looking for adult gaming titles don’t have many options, mostly because the entire industry – nay, the entire Western media – have turned against gamers. There are incessant attacks on fan-service, anime is under siege, along with light novels, and manga, as detailed in a piece by Sakura Anime News.
Well, thankfully there is one company out there that still cares about gamers and it’s Johren.

There are currently only a few free-to-play titles available, including X! 太OVER and Idol War. There’s also a new-school classic available on the platform in the form of Kamihime Project, which is also available over on Nutaku.
Pickings are slim, if I’m being honest.
However, having another outlet in which to acquire Japanese H-games is always welcome.
They also have plans on rolling out over 100 premium games on the service, along with various free-to-play titles, including Magicami, which is due to release on August 18th this month.
Other high-profile H-games such as Taimanin Asagi: Battle Arena will also debut on the service soon. Hopefully the games won’t undergo any sort of alterations or content refitting to accommodate the prudes of the West, which has been happening a lot over on Steam.
Nearly every week a new Japanese, Korean, or Taiwanese game gets banned off the service for one petty reason or another. If Johren can provide gamers with a stable enough platform without the censorship, then that’s fantastic.
Also, anyone who has been paying attention to the what’s been happening in the industry recognizes that gamers have been under attack by cultural imperialists known as Social Justice Warriors.
If Johren is legitimate, sticks to simply providing gamers with adult-oriented content, and avoids giving in to the censorious machinations of the Cultural Marxists trying to destroy the West, then it could be the blessing that weeb gamers have been asking for.
