Dagestan Technology and 7DOTS’ Crystal City came out back in the summer of 2017, giving gamers a time-manipulating visual novel experience that was chock full of naughty encounters and sexy bits of gameplay. However, while the game was uncensored over on Nutaku, it was heavily censored when it was released on Steam.
Well, thankfully some keen gamers have spread an easy-to-use method for Steam owners to have access to the uncensored version of the game.
UncensorPat.ch has a quick guide on how to access the uncensored version of Crystal City. It involves a very simple process.
1 – Click on the Preferences option from the main menu after booting up the game.
2 – Head to the gallery from within the Preferences menu.
3 – Press TAB on the keyboard and when prompted, type in the code: iddqd
The censored images in the game where all the naughty bits will then turn into the uncensored version. Below is the censored image of the game, but if you click the link it’ll take you to the uncensored version.
That’s a slick way to actually embed an uncensored patch into a game without having to make it separate. I was pretty sure that games weren’t allowed to do that on Steam, but given that there are several steps in order to gain access to the naughty bits from Crystal City.
Usually the uncensored patches are distributed separately as patches. Most games have them available off-site.
As far as Crystal City is concerned, the game is a kinetic visual novel, so you won’t be making choices or unfolding the story in any specific manner according to your own tastes, but it is filled with tons of ecchi content, which includes the uncensored bits made available with the code.
