TheGG Suspended From Twitter For “Hateful Conduct” Due To Tumblr Criticisms

Twitter is ramping up what it considers to be “hateful content”. Hashtags like the #Homocaust landed One Angry Gamer on a temporary 12 hour suspension, but now criticizing Tumblr or using word phrases like “lesbo/butch” can also apparently net you a temporary suspension as well, which is what happened to The Gaming Ground.

During a discussion about Tifa Lockhart’s appearance in the upcoming Final Fantasy VII: Remake, Robin Ek from The Gaming Ground made a comment about Tumblr’s take on the character, writing…

“I know right? But all them Tumblr tards are all for that crap version of Tifa. Hell, some of them even stated that they will use violence against Square Enix IF they don’t turn Tifa into some buff lesbo/butch character.”

The tweet was reported and then The Gaming Ground was hit with a “hateful conduct” charge by Twitter and was suspended for seven whole days. This means that they won’t be able to inform anyone about the content they produce during E3 2019 this year.

Robin also took note of the fact that apparently they were reported multiple times by various individuals who wanted to see their account deplatformed.

A screenshot was shared showcasing that some Social Justice types had apparently targeted The Gaming Ground and reported their tweet even though they weren’t engaged in the conversation.

Robin pointed out that a lot of the detractors of free speech and pro-censorship types are constantly using Twitter’s poorly structured system to deplatform those who they don’t like or who share views that they don’t agree with…

“It’s also quite obvious that SJW’s, feminazis and communist trash is abusing the report system to shut down accounts which they don’t like.”

Twitter has been escalating their suspension policies and censorship on certain kinds of users (mostly those who are against the Regressive Left, Conservatives, Right-wingers, or those who champion for free speech) as a way to suppress dissent, especially as the 2020 elections approach. The idea is to remove and stifle the speech of anyone who might expose their agenda or bring to light the propaganda that the media will likely use to heavily skew information relating to the Presidential candidates.

Nevertheless, The Gaming Ground is just another in a long line of victims who have been censored and continue to get censored by people who hate freedom.

Thankfully, there is some sliver of hope in the form of the White House investigating social media censorship doled out by big tech, so we’ll see how that turns out and whether anything will be done about it.

(Thanks for the news tip Robin)
