Rui Tsukiyo’s isekai series,Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi, also known as Redo of Healer, is being adapted from the realm of light novels and mangas to an animated television series set to air in Japan, courtesy of Kadagowa.
According to MyAnimeList, the show will be an ecchi fantasy sourced from the light novel and TNK Studios – who produced High School DxD and Ikkitousen – will be producing the show.
Anime News Network is also reporting that Kadokawa has already opened up an official website for the upcoming anime.
This is definitely going to be interesting because Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi is the exact sort of story that will make all the usual suspects “rheee!” frantically into the night.
The gist of the story is outlined in the PR release, but the general gist of the story is that a healer named Keyar is abused and held against his will by various “heroes” who make use of his healing ability. The gimmick is that his semen contains special healing properties, and can also be used to level-up others.
Keyar’s abilities become the subject of desire by certain “hero” characters, who proceed to not only force themselves on him orally, but he also finds himself being raped constantly by female and male adventurers alike. The male “heroes” even go so far as to sodomize him regularly, causing him to mentally break.
Eventually he manages to break free and decides to plot revenge against his captors by reversing time and subjecting his abusers to mind-control, physical assault, and repeated rape.
Keyar ends up building up a harem composed of a former abuser, as well as unlikely allies who are also seeking vengeance against other groups for one reason or another.
Of course, the entire series is themed around rape and sex, since that’s how the healer levels up other characters. It’s going to be interesting to see how they animate all of those sequences because the series is basically hentai just without the explicit details showcased in the scenes.
I’m also curious how they’re going to get around the male “heroes” leveling up by abusing Keyar given that all of them who took advantage of him also repeatedly sodomized him, especially the Cannon Hero, who engaged in some fairly perverse acts involving Keyar.
The show is expected to arrive in 2020. Expect the Social Justice wing of Twitter to explode on this anime and cry and whine like they’ve never cried and whined before.
I look forward to slurping up their tears.
