Universal Hires Elizabeth Banks To Direct, Star In Invisible Woman Movie

For some companies it’s not even about making money, it’s about pushing an agenda. For Universal Pictures, it’s all about the latter. This is indicative of them moving forward with hiring Elizabeth Banks – who had her name plastered all over the Charlie’s Angels reboot – to direct and star in the upcoming Invisible Woman movie.

The news comes courtesy of Deadline, who is reporting that Erin Cressida Wilson has been tapped to write the current draft for the film.

Universal is also going back to the same well that was involved in producing Charlie’s Angels, with producers Max Handelman and Elizabeth Banks still being in charge of production through the Brownstone Productions studio, the same one that handled Charlie’s Angels.

The article says nothing about the movie’s plot, so we have no idea what it will be about, but it appears to be a gender-swapped version of Universal’s recent Invisible Man movie, which is yet another feminist empowerment movie about an ugly woman being stalked by her crazy, invisible, ex-husband.

While Universal may not have much in the way of common sense emanating through the executive offices, they definitely seem keen on pushing forward with trying to keep their movies filled with propaganda.

It amazes me that they watched one of Banks’ movies go broke so quickly and they’re already bankrolling another film from her. Worse yet is that she blamed men for not liking the movie. That’s right, Elizabeth Banks blamed men for not supporting her feminist agenda and that’s why it bombed.

YouTuber No Bullshit covered the ridiculous excuse pushed by the writer, director, producer, and star of the film, highlighting just how delusional some of Hollywood’s heavyweights really are.

I don’t even understand how you could go into a meeting after the Charlie’s Angels flop and convince a bunch of executives to throw millions of more dollars your way. I also can’t imagine the new Invisible Man doing well in theaters, too, given the feminist slant it takes on. It’s like Universal wants to die.

Charlie’s Angels got woke and went broke in record time, managing to score a nice spot on the Get Woke, Go Broke master list. It looks like Universal wants to have The Invisible Woman joining the list, too.
