Normally you should take any rumor with a grain of salt. That goes without saying, but you should definitely take this rumor with an even finer grain of salt. Though it remains likely the Corona outbreak delayed the announcement of the PS5, we have still heard rumors of announcements and details before.
Were it not for similar rumor being overheard on The Giant Bomb Podcast among other sources before making the rounds around the internet it wouldn’t be worth reporting. This latest leak comes courtesy of 4chan where it was screenshotted rather than archived and is nothing terribly special.

If true, which frankly this post looks to be more a compilation of previous rumors than something someone is posting from their own information, then it would mean the PS5 is significantly less powerful than the Xbox Series X.
Its only saving grace would be the extra 4gb of DDR4 ram, but that will likely be used to run the capture system, AI and other functionalities rather than free up ram for developers. Microsoft’s console already is sporting a more powerful CPU and has guaranteed 13 of its 16 gigs of ram will be developer dedicated.
These specs put Microsoft in a very good position. Though comparably both manufacturers are fully converged puritanical anti-western civilization corporations to the average consumer more for less or even more for the same price is going to be the deciding factor. Possessing more power, combined with the game pass and multiplatform titles that will be largely the same regardless of which platform they are on the Xbox Series X appears to have put Sony in the same place the Xbox One was at the beginning of the current generation.
Sony may soon come to regret alienating their international market purely because they enjoyed such domination in the United States this generation.
