The Museum of Death is a museum known for containing a lot of morbid and disturbing paintings, artifacts, iconography, and memorabilia. In short, it lives up to its name. One of artists whose merchandise they had on sale at the museum goes by the name of Antichrist Kramer, but when Antifa found out that he had ties to the National Socialist Black Metal scene, they called on the Museum of Death to ban all of Antichrist Kramer’s merchandise, and the Museum of Death did.
The story started with a series of tweets in a thread made by the Corvallis chapter of Antifa based out of Oregon. The thread was published on April 4th, 2020.
Recently, we learned that “The Museum of Death” in Hollywood, CA has been quietly paying infamous Neo-Nazi musician, Antichrist Kramer, to make art and merchandise for them. pic.twitter.com/TrUBSgPbcC

The rest of the thread goes on to explain…
“Antichrist Kramer aka Christian Kramer is Chicago-based Nazi musician and who is famous for dressing up in cringy costumes and getting clowned on by antifascist bands. He runs the record label Deathangle Absolution and plays in the NSBM band Intolitarian.
“The Museum of Death is a popular tourist trap with locations in Hollywood and New Orleans. They’re well known for charging visitors way too much to see serial killer artwork, torture devices, and other spooky edgelord shit.
“The museum’s gift shop features a numerous overpriced trinkets and souvenirs. The most popular among these are shirts featuring serial killers on tarot cards.
“As it turns out, these are illustrated by Antichrist Kramer, himself. He claims the work in these posts on his instagram.”
The post links to Antichrist Kramer’s Instagram page, where some of the art that was being sold on the Museum of Death’s merchandise shop were also being promoted by Kramer on his page.
As pointed out by Antifa, Kramer has been selling his merchandise through the Museum of Death since 2013.
However, just days after Antifa called them out for carrying Kramer’s content, the Museum of Death made an internal post on their Facebook page on April 7th, 2020 indicating that they had cut ties with Antichrist Kramer and virtue signaled how progressive they were.
The Museum of Death has issued this statement regarding their relationship to Antichrist Kramer, and they have removed his art from their store. We appreciate them removing the items, but we still strongly condemn their glorification of fascists like GG Allin and Charles Manson. https://t.co/CGuJKB5POt pic.twitter.com/TuyfxsFzBH

If you’re unable to read the message, the Museum of Death wrote…
“To our loyal customers and fans,
“It has come to our attention that an artist we have hired in the past to create merchandise designs has political affiliations that we as a business and fellow artists cannot support. Had we had known the now public information about this individual we would never have used their artwork for the museum. We have ceased sales of all of their designs and would like to apologize for any distress or harm this information may or might have caused our amazing customers. We hope to see all of you when we reopen, please stay safe everyone.”
As pointed out by the anti-SJW YouTube outlet, Hipster Black Metal, the Museum of Death features all sorts of depraved memorabilia and historical trinkets of murderers, mutilators, rapists, and cannibals. So how is someone’s association with the NSBM scene somehow worse than any of the other aforementioned atrocities?
According to a post on the Left-wing sub-reddit Last Podcast on the Left, various users justified the ban by saying that Nazism was worse than all the other content featured at the Museum of Death.
A sticky comment from the moderator reads…
“To all the neo-nazi apologists and smug nihilists that act like this sort of thing comes with the territory: You can be a morbid weirdo and still be shocked when you find them among your group. You can be as deep into serial killers and conspiracy theory as anyone else and still resist fascism.
If you’re ok with neo-nazis then you should do us all a favor and unsubscribe from this sub because you are not fucking welcome here.” [sic]
This isn’t the first time that Antifa has gone after those in the metal scene.
Black metal band Mgła had their tour upended after Antifa spread calumny about the band to get their shows cancelled. The band fired back at Antifa by suing them for defamation, which cost them their tour.
Antichrist Kramer’s Instagram page is still alive, for now, unlike their YouTube channel.
