Battlefield 6 reportedly had a cross-promotional event planned with the Mass Effect franchise that was scrapped behind the scenes.
The collaboration would have allowed players to customize their soldier gear with an official N7 patch, with preparations targeting an arrival around the annual N7 Day celebration on November 7.
Development teams had allegedly already prepped assets for the crossover before internal restructuring and studio disruption ultimately shelved the crossover plans entirely.
