Jordan Bayes used to be a contributor for Pure Nintendo Magazine before attempting to become a lawyer. He dropped out of law school, however, to learn how to do 2D animation, and then assiduously sought work in the Japanese animation business, working on anime such as Hatena Illusion and Vinland Saga. He also aspires to soon one day work on popular anime such as Pokemon, One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen.
It was brought to my attention that Bayes, who is in an interracial relationship, has been aggressively seeking out work on Japanese anime.
On January 9th, 2020 Bayes tweeted out that his work was featured in Children’s Playground Entertainment’s Hatena Illusion.
私たちは、「はてな☆イリュージョン」の1つのエピソードにアニメーターとして参加しました!私は6つのカットに取り組みました!機会をありがとうございました!

This comes months after Bayes had excitedly informed his followers that he had worked on Vinland Saga from Wit Studio.
「ヴィンランド・サガ」15話でアニメーターとして参加させていただきました!機会を下さってどうもありがとうございました!
I’m so proud to announce that I participated as a Genga artist on episode 15 of Vinland Saga! I will keep working hard on anime!#VINLAND_SAGA #ヴィンランドサガ pic.twitter.com/zMGE4Krkvk

While most people would be happy an American managed to squiggle their way into the Japanese industry, this raised all sorts of red flags for anime fans due to fear of more Westerners weaseling into the anime industry and influencing it for the worse.
The typical skeptic will say “What’s wrong with Americans working in Japan’s animation industry?” well, the issue is that typically the people who seem to weasel their way in usually are Left-leaning, don’t quite like the true culture of anime, and begin to slowly subvert the standards to match their own ideology. This is exactly how gaming fell.
As for Bayes, he’s already shown to support for more Left-wing sociopolitics simply based on who he follows and what he’s retweeted, most of which align with what you would expect from such an individual. For instance, he retweeted Josh Gad, who stated that people should have been writing their politicians to legalize abortions instead of trying to get the ending of Game of Thrones changed.
He also retweeted comments from Samuel Deats, who made it known he suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

He wasn’t afraid to also support the people who felt it necessary to take the piss out of gamers for not wanting Left-wing propaganda in their games.
He also wasn’t afraid to retweet people like 9volt, who is a rabble-rousing anti-gamer.

And openly supported policies pushed by Elizabeth Warren.

Others pointed out that he was also fond of supporting viewpoints that championed the alteration of source material, which is what really made some people leery about his overall intentions of being part of the Japanese anime industry.
Now some people might retort “Who cares what his politics are or what sort of politics he supports?” well it tells us a lot about who Bayes is and what side of the isle he falls down on.
We’ve seen a lot of Leftist sneak their way into various industries and then use that opportunity to subvert said industries. As mentioned, the gaming industry – especially on the AAA level – has been completely converged. Mainstream comic books have also been overrun by ideologues as well.
There is growing worry that these identitarians are looking to wade into the Japanese anime industry and eventually co-op it the way they have with comic books, movies, and video games. Some believe that this is impossible for Leftists to achieve with Japan, but Netflix is already sending Western artists over to Japan to work on anime, and there are enough entries on the Get Woke, Go Broke Master List to remind us that no industry is safe from their influence.
