Asleep: Act 1 is currently free to claim on Steam, allowing PC players to permanently add the episodic 2D psychological horror adventure to their digital libraries. You have until November 2 to claim the release at zero cost before it reverts to its normal price tag.
The story plunges protagonist Ana into a nightmarish, decaying version of 1990s Brazil populated by disturbing apparitions. Surviving the ordeal requires cautious stealth, hiding inside lockers, rationing flashlight battery power, and solving environmental puzzles while evading lethal monsters.
Valve confirms the giveaway provides a full permanent license that counts toward your Steam collector badge rather than functioning as a temporary weekend trial. If you want a quick retro-style fright before the Halloween festivities conclude, you can claim it directly through the Steam storefront.
