Kojima Productions has officially registered a new trademark for Death Stranding Odradek, sparking fresh speculation across the gaming community. The filing points to an unannounced expansion of the franchise, though details regarding its exact nature remain strictly under wraps.
The moniker references the iconic robotic scanner arm attached to Sam Porter Bridges' shoulder, which players use to detect spectral BTs and analyze hazardous terrain. Whether the trademark represents a standalone spin-off, a mobile companion project, or tie-in merchandise remains unconfirmed by the studio.
Kojima is already developing Death Stranding 2: On the Beach alongside an animated series and an A24 live-action feature film adaptation. Whatever Odradek ultimately turns out to be, players will have to wait for Hideo Kojima to drop his usual cryptic teasers.
