FromSoftware has reportedly pushed the release window for The Duskbloods back to 2027. Developers claim the dark fantasy project is currently in the final stages of production but requires extra time to polish several core gameplay aspects.
The delay allegedly grants the studio crucial breathing room to fine-tune combat mechanics and balance technical performance across modern hardware. Fans have already joked that studio head Hidetaka Miyazaki merely decided to step aside and avoid clashing with the massive release window of Grand Theft Auto VI.
