Mimesis received a massive content update today for the viral co-op survival horror title alongside a record 60 percent discount on Steam. The hefty patch delivers substantial gameplay expansions designed to test team coordination and survival instincts under intense pressure.
The centerpiece of the update is the brand-new Derailment map, tasking squads with navigating a ruined train wreck and a multi-sector maintenance facility crawling with hostile threats. Players will have to contend with three terrifying new monster types while utilizing a newly introduced noise detector and fresh tactical gear to survive.
Quality of life improvements round out the patch with upgraded monster artificial intelligence, extensive combat rebalancing, and an expanded inventory system that lets you carry more essential survival supplies. If you have been waiting to jump into the cooperative horror craze with your crew, the temporary Steam price drop offers the cheapest entry point yet.
