Ubisoft has reportedly delayed Assassin's Creed Hexe to 2028 following severe internal production setbacks on the dark witch-hunt project.
The delay pushes the upcoming flagship entry back several years as the French publisher attempts to reorganize its sprawling franchise pipeline. Alongside Hexe, reports reveal that Ubisoft is also developing two additional franchise installments codenamed Mars and Pocket, which are set to transport players to Ancient Rome and Jerusalem.
If you were looking forward to Ubisoft's supernatural 16th-century European setting anytime soon, you are now facing an agonizingly long wait while the company sorts out its messy development roadmap.
