Grand Theft Auto VI Map Reportedly Takes 35 Minutes To Cross

Grand Theft Auto VI will reportedly require nearly thirty-five minutes to drive from one end of the map to the other. That travel time significantly eclipses Grand Theft Auto V, which players could routinely traverse by vehicle in under ten minutes.

Reports citing coverage from EDGE magazine indicate that the playable territory of Leonida spans roughly ten times the combined landmass of Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA IV, and GTA V. While early development concepts reportedly considered including multiple states, Rockstar Games narrowed its scope to build an unprecedentedly dense Vice City alongside vast surrounding wetlands and highways.

If you were worried about running out of fresh asphalt, Vice City's massive road network and rural backcountry will deliver plenty of ground to cover. Grand Theft Auto VI remains scheduled to launch in fall 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
