Independent modders are developing Project Hellboid, an ambitious crossover modification that transplants Helldivers 2 mechanics and equipment straight into Project Zomboid.
Instead of fighting off endless swarms of alien Terminids or robotic Automatons, players drop into Knox Country suited up as elite Helldivers tasked with purging massive undead hordes.
The upcoming modification introduces authentic armor sets, heavy firearms, combat vehicles, and tactical equipment pulled directly from Arrowhead Game Studios' hit co-op shooter.
The creator has not yet announced an official launch date for the mod, but PC survivors can expect it on Steam Workshop once development wraps up.
