Stardew Valley developer Eric Barone is preparing the farming simulator's most ambitious content drop yet with update 1.7 scheduled for release next year.
The upcoming update reportedly introduces a brand-new farm layout alongside a comprehensive overhaul of the game's social interaction systems. Players will also gain expanded romance and marriage options including Clint and Sandy, broadening relationship paths across Pelican Town.
Barone has kept further gameplay additions under wraps for now, continuing the beloved indie title's remarkable streak of free post-launch expansions across PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
