Weekly Recap Dec 14th: Xbox Series X, RE3 Jill Lacks Attractiveness, Gab Betrays Free Speech

This was a very full and jam packed week full of all sorts of news. The top of the week saw Gab abandoning their previous stance on upholding and protecting free speech by championing censorship of pornography and even video games. They’ve become the very same enemies that champions of your rights like One Angry Gamer have been fighting against since 2014.

Beyond Gab’s betrayal, there was also YouTube who also backstabbed all of their content creators by creating a new harassment policy that has retroactive effects, which they are using to ban popular videos from YouTubers like iDubbzTV, as well as applying strikes to channels for old videos from years ago, even though the videos were made before the new rules were put into effect.

And at the tail end of the week we saw Microsoft blunder like Nintendo blundered with the Wii U by naming the new Xbox the Xbox Sex… oops, I mean the Sex X… oops, I mean the XxX… no wait, I mean the Xbox Series X. Sorry guys, I got a little confused there.

Last and least is the absolutely ridiculous blow-up people have had over Jill from Resident Evil 3 Remake coming out looking like she got punched in the face by a bunch of jackhammers. She’s nowhere near as attractive as Julia Voth, yet a bunch of incels, femcels, and furcels have been freaking out about the new Jill being criticized. In fact, even David Jaffe from God of War fame came racing to white knight and defend the new Jill like the media ran to the defense of Prince of Andrew after it was discovered Andrew liked to sample the goods from the Epstein Island buffet.

These stories and more in this December 14th, 2019 edition of the Weekly Recap.

Gab Goes Full Boomer

Instead of being an alternative to Twitter, offering free speech and no restrictions on legal content, Gab decided to go full boomer, announcing that they support the ban on porn, and that they have embraced their inner CJW. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Queer Kid Stuff was a woke YouTube channel that barely made any money, but then they went broke, COPPA was being enforced, and they decided to call it quits… for now. After Owen Benjamin informed his followers that YouTube was going to terminate his account on December 10th, they did it a week earlier to no one’s surprise. The Smerff Electircal owner was reportedly jailed for nine months for refusing to remove Pepe memes from his website. The Department of Justice has also moved to rescind the Paramount Consent Decrees, which means that big movie studios can move in like sharks with blood in the water to monopolize theater chain distribution like they did before the 1950s. And Valve decided to side with the Chinese against the Hong Kong protestors regarding two titles that attempted to release on Steam that promoted Hong Kong’s liberation.

Ghostbusters 3 Triggers Journalists

The Ghostbusters 3: Afterlife teaser trailer dropped and it’s not like it’s anything special. In fact it still seems like it hearkens back to the typical Liberal trappings. However, a bunch of journalists still got triggered and started attacking fans. Visual novel AI: The Somnium Files got woke and went broke after trying to court the alphabet soup cooks. Plague Inc. added a fake news scenario to the game and one of the achievements is #GamerGate, which Capcom claimed that the reason they had to censor Devil May Cry 5 was due to European legislation, but that explanation doesn’t hold up well under scrutiny at all. Gab has fallen even further down the rabbit hole of censorship, this time openly coming out and proclaiming that all porn is bad and it needs to be censored in order to protect women and children. Yes, they did both a “think of the children!” from the Right and a “think of the women!” from the Left.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Gets Announced And Jill Looks Like Trash

Capcom formally announced Resident Evil 3 Remake with a completely overhauled Jill Valentine and Carlos. But while Carlos looks like an African immigrant, Jill looks like she got pummeled in the face with the jackhammer of life. The Taimanin Asagi 1: Trial relaunched on Steam, but we found out why Valve allowed the erotic visual novel back on the platform… because it’s censored! And speaking of Taimanin.. Lilith plans on releasing Taimanin Yukikaze on Steam as well as a trial version. Whether or not this means that the full volumes will appear on Steam is still up in the air. Predator: Hunting Grounds got caught in the net of RestEra’s spergery, this time with them attacking the game for making the female Predator too sexy. And the director of the new Black Christmas remake has come out by saying that the movie is “fiercely feminist” and that it’s about tackling “misogyny” and the “Patriarchy”. I wish I was making that up but sadly it’s true.

YouTube Betrays YouTubers With New Harassment Policy

If you didn’t think that YouTube wasn’t anti-YouTuber before, well they sure as heck are now. Their new harassment policy was put into place and YouTubers are getting screwed left and right by having their old videos targeted and removed. They’re no longer capable of making response videos, no more insults, no more “demeaning” words, no more call-outs, and no more targeting public officials or celebrities. Donald Trump put a new anti-Semitism Executive Order in place to block college campuses from engaging in anti-Semitism, but it completely ignores the biggest threat of them all: black Hebrew Israelites that happen to be terrorists. Shin Megami Tensei V is still in development for the Nintendo Switch, but when it’s going to come out is anyone’s guess.

Project Scarlett Becomes Xbox Series X

In what must be the most asinine naming convention for the newest Xbox, the console has been called the Xbox Series X. It looks like a cube-castrated version of an upright Xbox One X and even the colors are exactly the same! It’s a pretty crappy design and the name is about as effective as the Wii U. In any case, it already has an exclusive lined up for its holiday release in 2020 and it’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. And on the subject of sequels, Telltale has partnered with DC Comics, Warner Bros. Entertainment, and Adhoc Studios to finish the second season of The Wolf Among Us. A brand new Fast & Furious entry is coming but it isn’t a movie, it’s called Fast & Furious Crossroads, and it actually features the stars from the long-running movie series. Steam banned a bunch of visual novels, further expanding the Waifu Holocaust list, this comes at the time where VenusBlood Frontier‘s release on Steam has been indefinitely delayed due to Valve’s taste police.
